Online therapy is convenient and easy to use. Sessions are conducted via phone or video through our secure, HIPPA-compliant portal.
Online therapy requires all clients be physically located in the state where their therapist currently holds an active license.
Currently, The Collective Therapy & Wellness LLC has licensed therapists in multiple states and can provide therapy to clients located in New York, New Jersey, Missouri, and Texas.
We plan on expanding our team and licenses across more states in time.
*We require all of our clients to submit proof of identification and address prior to beginning therapy.

While utilizing health insurance helps ease overall health care costs, the scope of your treatment and determination of covered interventions is decided by your insurance carrier — people who have never met you and will likely never meet you or get to know you on a personal level. When choosing to invest in your mental health through private pay, your treatment, and interventions are determined collaboratively between you and your therapist rather than being dictated by your insurance carrier.
Likewise, when you choose to utilize your insurance for mental health care, your progress notes and treatment plan, along with other personal information, need to be submitted to your insurance company. One of those pieces of personal information includes a diagnosis as a reason for seeking and obtaining help. While diagnostic labels are not a bad thing, and are sometimes necessary for required medical intervention, it is not an area we focus on. We come from the understanding that we all are products of unique life experiences and backgrounds that influence our mental health in ways that cannot always be categorized.
For these reasons, and in order to fully protect the privacy of our clients, as well as tailor therapy specifically to you, we do not participate with any insurance panels.
Upon request, we can provide clients with superbills to submit to insurance, however, we do not guarantee that reimbursement will occur.

Therapy for Parents: $250 per 55-minute session

In an effort to widen accessibility to quality mental health and wellness services, a portion of each full-rate fee goes toward funding services on a sliding-scale basis for those who are unable to pay full out-of-pocket costs.
